The Universe Story is the story as revealed by science from the big bang 13.8 billion years ago, through the creation of the stars and galaxies, planet Earth, the appearance of life on Earth and our human journey.
This story not only tells us how we came to be here, it also opens us up to awe and wonder and it gives hints and clues about our meaning and purpose on Earth.
This story is inclusive – we are all part of this amazing journey, all of the atoms and molecules that make up our bodies appeared with the big bang. And as we are all part of the living Earth, we can see ourselves as here to support each other on our journey through life.
I offer a talk on the Universe Story – tracing the journey from the big bang through to today. I also draw meaning from the story to inspire us to make the world a better place.
I generally find it best to talk for 45 minutes and then have time for questions and discussion but this can be adapted to fit in with your event. You can read my endorsements here.
